TESTIMONIAL OF PASTOR Dr. HAZEL HANSON

Dear Brethren and Friends,
To God be the Glory great things he has done!
Welcome to the testimonial page.
I believe that this reading will be inspiring and will increase your faith mightily.

A SPECIAL SEED PLANTED IN MY HOMELAND, JAMAICA

In the year of 1992, I heard the voice of God speak to me in my spirit telling me to go back to my homeland and explain to the people the joy that He has given to me.
I took my first mission flight in April 1993. It was amazing to see the mighty move of God in Hanover Hopewell Square. The meeting was organized by my beloved sister and fellow brethren from the Hopewell Apostolic church.

The square was filled with a vast number of people and God allowed me to minister about His love using the scripture St. John 3: 16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The meeting brought about astounding results! Miracles such as baptisms, prophecies, and healing took place in the midst of all who had attended. Myself and other brethren moved from district to district and parish to parish preaching the word of God and giving encouragement to souls in deep despair.

God being the Great Light was our guide and shined through us all; wherever we traveled on the island, darkness had to give way.

In 1997, God once again divinely spoke in my spirit saying that I should not only preach His word, but also focus on the needs of the people. From receiving that instruction, we started packing barrels and containers sending non perishable items, clothing, furniture, and school supplies to the less fortunate.

As I continued on, I was blessed to have witnessed such great growth in the ministry. One inspiration from God turned into a journey of wonderment and radical change within the island of Jamaica.

In June 2004, I experienced another encounter with God as He again spoke into my spirit regarding the feeding program for Jamaica. I was very bewildered and asked the Lord how this can come together knowing that I was not yet prepared to migrate back to my homeland.

As I pondered in my spirit on the direction that the Lord has sent me, one whole day had passed by. The following day, at approximately 10:00 am, I heard His voice again instructing me to call my brother in Jamaica and ask him to retrieve the contact of the Justice of the Peace who was at the time Mr. Ewart Grant. That very night, I had come in contact with Mr. Grant and told him all that the Lord has placed profoundly in my spirit for Jamaica. Elated with hearing my vision and duty, his response was "you couldn't have called at a better time!" He also mentioned that a few days before, himself, the principal, and some of the citizens were in a meeting consulting about a solution for the lack of attendance at various schools. They acknowledged that the poor attendance was due to the fact that many could not afford lunch.

I then took my flight to Jamaica in 2004 to meet with Mr. Grant, Bishop Ivan Evans, Dr. Lyndon Johnson, the principal of Jericho Primary school, the mayor Mr. Crooks, the MP Mr. Barrington Gray, the councilor Mr. Hill, and other citizens of the area. We discussed in depth about the feeding program and also the time that the project would commence.

The feeding program launched in March 2005 sponsoring 78 needy children beginning with the parishes Trelawny and Hanover.

When I flew to Jamaica once again in 2006 and traveled more around the island, the vision that God had given me had become more alive as I had received the statistics concerning the percentage of absentees from schools across the island. My heart was deeply moved with compassion and I declared to the Lord "I am going to step out on faith like Abraham in the book of Genesis chapter 12. These children are God's children and they need to be fed when they attend school."

After recruiting 1000 more children in the feeding program, I then flew back to Canada with my faith increased knowing that more people would donate and support towards the feeding program. The anointed movement stirred the hearts of many people, for many started to give towards the ministry.

I must declare "when the Lord gives the vision He will make the provision." COFI is now established in many countries and will continue to strive to become even more global. In months and years to come, by the grace of God, I visualize COFI will be more established. It is important for children to experience the love of God through their fellow men. Such an act will cause lives to be transformed and they will become a good citizen by sharing the love which was bestowed upon them.

Seeing the ministry soar like an eagle, I thank God that He has given me great faith to step out on His word: not knowing that this ministry would have reached a height that it is today and still reaching higher heights. As the feeding program continued to flourish, God has also given me the privilege of establishing a church in Hanover Jamaica which bears the name Faith Deliverance International Ministries with Bishop I. Evans as overseer.

I give God thanks for Bishop Evans who also has been inspired by the Lord to mentor and support sacrificing his time ministering and teaching. God bless him and the rest who has supported us. For those who are still working I pray others will be influenced and the ministry will continue to manifest and give birth in other areas according to His will.

I am also grateful for My Jamaican support which includes my sister, my brothers, my nephew, Colando Hutchinson, and many citizens of various ranks. I am also thankful for my Canadian support which includes Bishop D.W Thompson and the brethren at Bethlehem United Church (apostolic), Bishop Carlton Facey, Minister Fisher, Ms. Dahlia McGregor, Mr. and Mrs. Neville Williams, and Mr. and Mrs. Loinel Thomas.

God has also blessed me with an exceptional family, for the ministry. What God has placed in my hands, is truly extraordinary and it takes a special group of people. They have never stood by with idle hands and watched me work, but had taken their rightful place in the ministry.

I pray that the strength of God will continually rest upon us all as we work together to allow this great cause to expand.

Be blessed in the reading of this passage and I know that just as how God had worked supernaturally in my life, He can work in your life as well.

"...If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

IT IS TIME TO MOVE MOUNTAINS WITH YOUR FAITH!
